Open WhoAmIResponse for every field, enum, nested message, and presence rule. Check the RPC status and any outcome fields in the response.

Connection and availability

The identity service requires a multi-tenant deployment with authentication enabled. Login and refresh accept their own credentials; administration requires tenant Admin or Grant permission. See authentication and wire encoding for metadata, deadlines, and retry behavior.
